It was great to meet customers again at IMHX
The beginning of September saw SMC Euroclamp exhibiting at the IMHX exhibition held at the NEC in Birmingham. It was the first time since COVID that the materials handling industry had the opportunity to showcase their products and innovations.
Our stand had 2 of SMC Euroclamp’s attachments on display which had its focus on the logistics industries, a FEM Class 2 Pivoting Fork Clamp and a Fork Mounted Slip Sheet attachment, both units were built at our production facility in Cheshire.
The exhibition was a definite success for SMC Euroclamp and Sales Director Steve Rodman commented that “although the footfall seemed to be less than previous IMHX, the range and diversity of stand visitors enabled us to speak to many new end users that we had not had contact with before”.
Certainly, the number of visitors and exhibitors from within the materials handling sector was much lower than previous exhibitions, although it was good to catch up with those that did manage to attend.
In summary SMC considers that IMHX 2022 has been a success and contributes positively to our continued growth of hydraulic attachment sales and designed products.
